We have finished our first official week of homeschool for 2nd and 3rd grade. Overall it was a great week. I'll share later this week all the details on it. For today, I wanted to share how I set up our classroom.

The room was heavy and chaotic. I emptied two trash bags from this room. It's ridiculous how much stuff you acquire throughout the year.
My new favorite spot. That large armoire is gone (put in the storage room) and the space is so clean.

Added a larger white board.
Hung up the color puzzle that Jayla mostly finished for me.
I love our new space. We've already had to change the desk setup on day two. I use our Ikea white board for the math lessons and it wasn't working well having the kids twisting their backs to see the lesson. Their desks are now back to back, but I'm not envisioning this to be a good idea either. We'll see. Last year this set up did not work. At all.
I'm hoping we'll have a great year, even with a move across the ocean, not having all our things for 2-3 months, and living in hotels. It shall be an interesting year!
