Homeschool Work Boxes

We started using work boxes last year and since it worked so well, we have continued using them this year.  These drawer units are from Ikea and they are awesome for homeschooling and keeping our daily units separate and easy to access.
Mid year last year we discovered that the drawers were much easier to use if they were labeled.  This year, I added some fun new labels.

The 1st drawer holds the basics to survive the day.  Pencils, erasers, glue, scissors, glasses, schedule, and their weekly lesson planner.  I created the lesson planner about 6 weeks prior to school ending last year and it was such a sanity saver.  It's working well again this year too.

The second drawer holds their writing worksheet.  They are in the same writing curriculum this year so their drawer is the same.

The third drawer is for math.

The fourth drawer is for grammar.

The last drawer is for miscellaneous.  It holds folders and writing boards.  One folder is for loose leaf paper and the other is for when we travel.

Table top.  In the upper right spot is for their fuzzy's when they earn them.  They have a chance to earn two each day and then when they get to 50, we have a fun day.
