Summer Fun part 1

This summer has been so much fun.  I'm going to try to do a bunch of recaps to get caught up and then I'll be able to keep current.  We're starting school in a few weeks and I'm wanting to talk about what we're doing in school.  With us moving to Italy mid year, it's going to get interesting.

So let's catch up.  Lulu was so excited to get her Starbucks Puppuccino.

We saw the airport a lot this summer.  On this trip, we were on our way to pick up my niece.  She stayed with us this summer.  I love it when she comes visit us.

We rode bikes.  A lot.

We set up the pool on the weekends because there was no way I was stepping into a public pool on the weekends.  Can you say mad-house?!  And when strangers park in front of your house, you get to spray the car, haha!

Osmo made many appearances.  The coding game was the ultimate favorite.

Pool days were the best days.  Hours of fun.

How many dice can you stack on your head?

We found the science museum and the kids loved the discovery room

My niece mentioned that she hated Toy Story, but the day before we went we watched the second one and she loved it.  So when we watched the fourth one, she was hesitant and ended up loving it!  She's so funny.

We met our "framily" at the water park.  I ended up buying season passes and we've been a couple times and plan to go at least twice more.  So worth it!

The next day we went to the amusement part of the park and rode rides.  It was a hot day, but still so much fun.

At church the kids received tattoos.  They lasted for ever.

Jayla and I {mostly Jayla} finished the puzzle I'm putting in the school room.  I had plans to put our calendar on it, but it's too small.  So I'll hang it as decoration.  I just love it.

We baked a lot

The queen of making fruit salads

The fireworks were a bit boring this year.  It was a rainy, stormy night.  Maybe that's why?

The biggest project this summer has been painting.  Ugh.  Why did I start this project?  It sucks.  Let's just be honest.  Now I can see why it took my neighbor 2 years to paint her house.

I have the garage hall, kitchen, living room and half of the foyer done.  Only 700 more to do 😭  It looks nice, so I'm happy with it, but man does it suck your days away.

Have you had a good summer?
