Easter 2020

It's Monday.  Another day in precautionary land.  Easter was not what we planned this year.  Like many others.  Sigh.  We were looking forward to going to my parents in FL.  The kids miss their Nana and Papa like crazy and can't wait until we can go visit them.
Although we had to celebrate by ourselves, we made the most out of it.  Our community held a contactless Disney Egg Scavenger Hunt, so we walked around and looked for the eggs.  If we win, we'll get a free movie night with goodies and gift cards.  #yesplease

We all loved this Lady and the Tramp egg with a plate of spaghetti.

Our next favorite was Mike from Despicable me.  His clue was, "Bee-do! Bee-do! I love bananas and I'm where the dogs go Do Do! Do Do!"  So funny.
We loved this activity!

Then we headed to base and had a drive through Easter Bunny visit and received a bag of goodies.

On Saturday I decided to let the kids dye eggs.  Not my favorite activity, but hey, they could do it on their own.  So, I stood back and let them enjoy.

The finished eggs

Sunday morning at 4:15 I stuffed baskets and set them out.

Admiring their loot and loving her new bunny.

The Easter Bunny left his traditional bag of stuffed eggs so I could hide them.  This was the best tradition I started a few years ago.

It was a rainy day, so I hid them inside.  My early bird found all her eggs before her brother was up.  She's the cutest.

Xander woke up and found his eggs

And got right to work putting together his new Lego set while we tried watching a new church we might want to try out once churches open up again.  We ended up watching our church from NC and all loving it.  We miss it.  We're hoping to find a local church, but we weren't feeling this one online.  We'll give it a try in person before saying no.

They played nicely most of the day.

And then they had root beer floats and watched Spies in Disguise.  They loved it.

Have a Wonderful Day!
