Weekend Happenings

This weekend felt so long.  It's most likely because Nick teleworked on Friday and then the weekend went along slowly.  Which I don't mind, but the kids seem to get bored more often.  I love when they tell me they're bored.  Then at least something gets done around the house that's been neglected and I don't hear "I'm bored" the rest of the day.  The next day, sure, I still hear it.  They'll never learn to dismiss that phrase from their vocabulary.  It's only natural.  But, I'll keep giving them tasks.

I didn't take many pictures this weekend.  Well, I did, but I can't share them on here.  I have over a hundred of Xander's work for his portfolio.  I finally finished the portfolios on Sunday.

Friday night Sterling and I went downtown to order our favorite Thai dinner.  Upon arrival the town had a little street fair happening.  This is the second time that we went downtown and something was going on.  But, we've never heard talk or news about them.  So, I went on the towns website and put in my calendar all the things posted from there.  Hopefully we won't miss any of the fun stuff now.  Sterling did manage to get cotton candy as we were waiting.

Xander loves taking the dogs on the trampoline.  Lulu hates it and freezes herself to the edge, so he rarely brings her on.  However, Bella loves the attention.  She'll go anywhere you take her, ha.  It's funny watching them play because when Xander does a wrestling move on her, he moves in slow motion so he doesn't hurt her.  It's the funniest thing to watch.

I finished the Manifest episodes.  Sterling and I would watch them together, but she didn't like the newest episodes, so I was on my own.  I was surprised at the ending.  I really didn't see that happening.  But, I loved the ending.  Did you watch Manifest?

Have a great day!
