Best friends

We had visitors over the weekend.  Sterling's friend and her mom came down.  It was nice to have company.  Although, why do kids feel the need to break every rule they know is not allowed.  Like running in circles through the house?!  Drives me crazy.  In my attempts to stop them in the act, they'd just continue a few minutes later.  Drove me crazy.  Maybe I just need to dismiss that rule and let kids be kids?

Two best friends

Xander fit right in with Harper.  But then, two crazy kids always do.  Right?

They played a game of Twister before heading back.

I worked on lesson planning.  I planned out two weeks because I have a feeling Nick will be home sooner than we were expecting.  So now I'm prepared with school and we can enjoy all our extra time  without lesson planning.

Sterling and Lulu watched Halloween.  She loves that movie.  She has her dad's taste in movies.

Xander took an actual nap for an 1.5 hours.  He needed it.  He only had about 6 hours a sleep because he and Harper stayed up past midnight working on art.  He woke up refreshed and in a better mood.

Sterling dressed Lulu up like a live baby doll.  Lulu loved it and cuddled right in where ever Sterling tried putting her.  She created a store so I could take Lulu to and buy her things.  It was pretty cute and creative.  She had grocery bags to put our stuff in.  Play money she cut out of paper.  I worked in a little math lesson of addition and subtraction.  ha!  Life of a teacher.

It's going to be a great week.  I may be stressed and on edge, but I have a feeling it'll end wonderful.
