We set up early again this year. I feel like it's too much work to get everything out and set up just to take down three week later. So the second week in November, we started decking the house.
Xander's always my most eager one to get started. Somehow, we don't see him much after he puts on like 10 ornaments 😂
I had the best fluffed this year, Nick. We had the tree fluffed and lights stranded throughout in one day! The kids helped us string the lights.
Sterling basically decorated the tree entirely by herself.
It was fun catching glimpses of her waving to her reflection in the bulbs.
Lulu found her favorite spot
We've tried a few new recipes this month.
This Chicken Curry Nick loved. Everyone ate it and we'd have it again, but Nick loved it. He had a similar meal in Afghanistan for the past year.
Then I made these Greek Chicken wraps and salads. We all agreed that the chicken wasn't as good as we expected. I tried the dressing before putting it in and thought it'd turn out, but something was off. So, from now on, I'll skip the "fast" method and use fresh seasonings.
We've been plugging away with school. We also sometimes take out lunches up and have lunch in the classroom. The kids love it.
We surprised the kids and took them to see Frozen II on opening day. What a great movie. It's crazy how long it took them to make this movie. It was worth the wait, so so good!
Sterling loved Elsa's new dresses.
My favorite scene...
Have you seen Frozen II yet? Did you and your kids enjoy it?
