Mother's Day

This year was my 9th year being able to celebrate Mother's Day.  It took 10 years to finally become a mom and it was an incredible moment when I held Xander in my arms for the first time.  He first made me a mom and I'm forever grateful that God choose him to be a part of our family.  Eleven months after he was born, along came Sterling.  She was a surprise and has completely shocked us along the way.

They brought me breakfast in bed with my homemade cards

Then we all ate coffee cake together.

Weeds make the best first flower, ha!

These two are always up for a good time

And a good laugh

I wouldn't be a mom without this man,

Who's always up for a fun family vacation

We Spent way too much time at Great Wolf Lodge over the years

And a good balloon hat will surely put a smile on this little boys face for days

Although being a mom amazing, it can be hard and it's definitely full of surprises.  It's everything I ever imagined and I'm so thankful I have two joys I get to hang out with every day.
